**This is a toughish race but it's a big old moon so visibility will be good and the weather looks mild. Read our race nformation on our race manual**

The first three miles is mainly uphill following the river to Shipley Bridge with one or two brief descents to give you some respite. There is then a tarmac section (though still slightly uphill) before you get out onto Dartmoor, turning right at the Avon Dam and crossing below the Abbot’s Way and heading south east, and emerging near the boundary fence which takes you south, close to the head of the Harbourne exiting the moor near Dockwell farm. The route then heads back via the infamously muddy Brent Hill and Lydia Bridge.
