The eight race series Wild Night Run gets under in November 2018.
We’ve added kids races to the series See Wild Night Run Series Kids Races
You must bring a head torch and spare batteries, as well as a reflective vest and grippy shoes are strongly advised. Some of the races will be suitable for dogs if they are kept on leads but you will be advised if this is case.
Warm food and refreshments will be available in the cafe afterwards and public toilets will be provided at most of our venues.
Race entry includes: electronic chip timing, fully marked out course using poles, arrows & flashing lights , feed station, Birch wood finisher’s medal, bottled water for all finishers, free number transfer if you are unable to run, category prizes & spot prizes (via our free to join Strava club).
TEAM COMPETITION & SERIES POINTS
We now have an optional team competition. If you don’t have a team use your club name which will also qualify for the team competition. The team’s time is the time of the first three team members to cross the line added together. Your best 4 results from 8 races count for Series Points. However if you only manage two or three races you’ll still appear in the results

THE WILD NIGHT RUN SERIES
RACE 1 – THE NIGHT TEMPLER 10K AND 5K, SAT 20 OCTOBER
RACE 2 – HALDON NIGHT MILE 10K & 5K, 5.30PM, SAT 3 NOV
A hilly course on relatively smooth trails at Haldon Forest.
RACE 3 – BURRATOR NOIR AND 10K, 5.30PM, SAT 1 DEC,
Starts and finishes at Burrator Reservoir. Choose from the 10 mile Burrator Noir, a new race virtually all-off road that follows a big loop around Burrator. It’s fairly flat, for a Dartmoor run, so an ideal season opener. Alternatively there’s the Burrator 10K which is a fast, mainly tarmac 10K course based on a lap & three quarters of Burrator Reservoir – ideal for road runners or people new to night running. RACE 4 – DART DART DASH 10K AND 5K, 5.30PM, SAT 8 DEC
This race moves to a Saturday evening and the start moves to Dartington Hall for extra facilities and more parking. However the course remains the same! A tough, sometimes muddy 10K that’s almost all off-road & uses the best bits of the Dartington Estate. Find out more and Enter
