Most of us will have experienced getting lost in the dark at some point or other, especially if you’ve ventured too far off piste without a map, phone or compass. We have the tools at our disposal but don’t necessarily know how to use them. And what happens when the clag comes down? Then it’s time to concentrate! This evening course will aim to provide some of the basics in night navigation, as well as focussing your mind on the task at hand: The very unique experience of running at night. Afterwards you’ll be paired up and we’ll all go for a run TOGETHER, putting in to practice what we’ve learnt.
This workshop will touch on running on a bearing, route planning using a map and compass and phone, as well as reading the landscape at night.
