Wild Running aims to create an outdoors haven for runners or would-be runners who get a buzz from expanding their horizons off-piste.

We want to appeal to all levels and abilities and this is reflected in our bespoke packages which range from half-a-day to weekends.
You may be a novice runner, looking to take part in your first half/full marathon, who needs to get away from the urban rush and some extra head space, or a regular runner seeking to enhance your skills by running in the wilderness, whether it’s uplands, moorlands or forest trails. We also offer guidance and training in navigation, for those who aim to gain confidence or to improve their navigation skills.
The only pre-requisite is the minimum gear to survive a British winter and a clean bill of health! We will ask you some questions about your running background, just to determine which graded run would be more suitable for you. We trust that you will be honest in appraising your own fitness levels and if you’re not sure, we will help you.
We aim to take care of all the logistics (food, transport, baggage) so that you can make the most of your wild time. Our guides, who are both expert runners and excellent company, have a proven track record of guiding runners of all abilities and competing in long distance running events, as well as being Mountain Leader and Walking Group Leader qualified, which means they are also interested in sharing their local wildlife knowledge.
